Down on the Farm...

What a BEAUTIFUL weekend we are having!!! We started ours early on Friday with a lovely flower hunt at Lurgan Greenhouses. Isaac, Lily and Ollie loved looking at the fish and helping me pick out flowers for the house. Of course, as soon as we made it back to the car to load up, everyone had to go to the bathroom! UGGG what a pain that is!!! So after that ordeal we made our way home. Oliver was a super big help with the flowers, he loves to dig in the dirt. He even helped me put potting soil in the flower pots! I think he is half animal because he never wants to come inside. He LOVES the outdoors!!!

Sophia loves to plant too. She made her own flower pot and was so proud. I just hope this year we can keep them watered all summer and not come home to dried up weeds! It's hard to keep it all together. We cleaned out the perennial garden too, so that needs to be updated this week. Another big project for the week is the pool. We opened it two weeks ago but it's a total mess! I went to Flohr's today and stocked up on necessities and will begin the pool transformation project tomorrow. There is alot to be done. We removed three trees that were too big, so those spaces need plants of some sort. Pool needs cleaned, scrubbed, chlorinated...all the toys need purged and the furniture needs scrubbed down (a job for a bucket, some soap and kids in bathing suits with sponges!)
If we get all this done then maybe we'll have time to sit down and actually enjoy the beautiful Spring weather! Our yard is looking pretty good...oh, and here's a genuine longhorn cow, yep, it's frequenting our pasture and pushing the other cows around! It's fun to watch, Oliver loves it! He even says, "MOOO," now...
