It's official

It's official, we are now proud parents of a United States Marine. Jordan was sworn in earlier today and is officially in the delayed entry program. His scheduled boot camp departure is November 15th, unless they have a spot come open earlier. Until then he will be conditioning and strengthening his body and hopefully working as well. After the initial shock we are really proud of him. I know the structure and discipline will be good and everyone keeps telling me he will return home a new man. I look forward to seeing his success as a Marine.
