We have a GRADDDDDuate!!!

Congratulations Jordan!!! We officially have a high school graduate!

We are super proud of him!!! Jordan has never liked school. Ever since he was in 1st grade and the teacher took away his lollipop on the chalk board for bad behavior it's forever been downhill! We tried alternative ways of education over the years and nothing seemed to work for Jordan. The bottom line is that he did not like structured school and certainly did not like doing the work. Last year we decided to allow him to drop-out...and believe me, it wasn't a decision we took lightly. Thanks to a very caring teacher at Cumberland Valley, she directed Jordan toward the AchievE program, an adult-diploma program for those who did not complete high school. We were thrilled that he could participate in this program.

WOO HOO last night 17 of us joined together to celebrate Jordan's graduation! Thanks to Dave, Mama, Tiffany, the kids, Aunt Penny, Pappy, Auntie Lisa, Hannah, Aunt Helen, Megan (his girlfriend) and Grandma and Pop Showalter...after the ceremony and a bunch of goofy celebratory photos, we headed to Olive Garden for a celebration dinner!

CONGRATS JORDAN, YOU MADE IT AND WE'RE PROUD OF YOU!!! WE KNOW YOU WILL GO FAR AND WE LOVE YOU
